Jason Fountain, CCIM
Jason N. Fountain, CCIM is the Principal Broker at Investors Real Estate Partners, specializing in commercial investment sales across Southwestern Virginia, with an emphasis on multifamily and income-producing assets.
A James Madison University graduate, Jason began his career in youth ministry, leadership, and community development; experience that still shapes his people-first approach and steady deal leadership. Since transitioning into commercial real estate in 2005, he has advised owners and investors on acquisitions, dispositions, and long-term portfolio strategy across a wide range of transactions.
Jason earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation early in his career, reflecting advanced expertise in financial analysis, market evaluation, and investment strategy. He brings a versatile background of experience in multifamily, industrial, office, and retail properties, along with a hands-on perspective as an owner and operator. His work often involves complex assignments, like value-add renovations, adaptive reuse, historic tax credit projects, and creative deal structuring – all paired with his disciplined negotiation and real-world underwriting.
In recent years, Jason has also helped clients scale through locally focused real estate syndications, serving as a co-sponsor and strategic lead on projects ranging from multi-tenant industrial to apartment communities.
Known for an investor-first mindset and deep regional market knowledge, Jason and his team are often brought in by other brokers to help position and sell properties, earning a reputation as a true “broker’s broker.” Clients appreciate his clear communication, responsiveness, and the fact that the process is straightforward and enjoyable.
